D. Brad Jones
D. Brad Jones possesses more than 20 years of legal experience and handles all aspects of civil litigation, with a primary emphasis in representing both institutional clients and small businesses in matters such as misappropriation of trade secrets, general commercial breach of contract claims, and other business torts.
Brad's experience encompasses a myriad of complex business, real estate, and construction matters, and his work in commercial litigation includes serving as the general counsel for a Silicon Valley start-up. This was followed by 10 years as corporate counsel for a large Silicon Valley data management company. In this capacity, Brad was responsible for prosecuting and defending a wide variety of complex business and high-tech litigation matters within the hardware industry, as well as serving as in-house legal advisor to all levels of management.
Brad also has extensive real estate and construction litigation experience. He began his legal career in a private San Jose firm focusing in those areas, accumulating extensive litigation and trial experience. His real estate practice included handling a portfolio of over 3.2 million square feet in over 170 locations, comprised of undeveloped property, entitled property, ground leased buildings, triple net leased properties, and commercial high-tech campuses.
